First half of February

 It’s crazy that February is half over. Her in Yakima life has been busy. We have continued working on the bathroom. Kyle and his friend Tori and my dad came one weekend and we got a lot done, hopefully we will finish up this week. This past weekend we went to Boise to look at houses, it was good to see the area and get a feel for what was available. Other fun this month included:

Lots of dental appointments for Lydia, unfortunately she has a tooth that is going to need a lot of work

Did a puzzle for Valentine’s Day, we didn’t do much else to celebrate, we were in Boise so we just picked up a yummy treat after our day of looking at houses

The kids in Utah have been having fun

Kyle: made the trip home to do some plumbing, we loved having him and his friend Tori for the weekend. 

He’s been going on some fun dates. And he still works a lot, he also loves playing basketball and going golfing, he is always busy, and he is doing well

Hailey:

She is busy with school and work and wedding planning

Carl and Hailey made a trip to southern Utah this past weekend for some hiking and outdoor time

They both turned in their applications for the programs they want to get into, they should find out soon if they got in

They went to the byu basketball game this weekend, they had a lot of fun

They are busy and happy and doing great

 I turned 48 this week. It was a nice day, lots of birthday wishes from friends and family. The kids had fun sending me lots of funny pictures of me from past years. Lydia and I made a Costco trip after school, we picked up a cheese cake to celebrate, it was yummy. It was a nice day, we are very busy working on house projects and it was a school night so it was a pretty simple birthday, which was fine by me. I have a feeling 48 is going to be a busy crazy year.

January is over

 January was a long month, we didn’t have hot water for over a week, we had lots of gray cold days, now my bathroom is under construction, and we had to make the big decision to move to Boise! Marc applied for a job at the hospital over there and interviewed earlier this month and this past week he accepted the job offer.
