We got a new sled from Santa. It snowed all morning so Kyle and Hailey got to try it out. They said it works great. I had lots of fun watching them. Kyle would stand on it and Hailey would pull him down the hill, he thinks he is ready for a snowboard. The Hailey would lay on it and Kyle would pull her down.

Merry Christmas
Our Christmas morning started pretty early this year. On all of the past Christmases I have had to wake the kids up, but not this year. At 4:00 Kyle came up to our room, i was going to send him back to our room but Marc said he wouldnt be able to stay in his room he would be out by the tree checking everything out(Marc knew that because that is what he used to do). So he layed down on the end of our bed and about every 2 minutes he would sit up and and anounce the time finally at 5:30 we went and got the girls up. we went down and had lots of fun opening presents. We go through our stockings first, Katie and Nicole were pretty excited about the bananas and oranges and candy canes. Then we opened the presents under the tree from santa and from each other. Katie just wanted to open them she didnt really care what was in them Nicole opened hers and wanted to pull everything out and play with them. Everyone seemed pretty happy about what they got. We spent the day playing the new games and checking out the new toys. Marcs family came over to visit to. It was a really nice day it was great just spending the day together.
katie and Nicole really liked their candy canes.
Christmas Eve
Marc had to work on Christmas Eve so the kids and I spent the day getting the house clean and watching Christmas movies and of course getting our Christmas dinner ready. Marc got home at about 5:oo and we had dinner it turned out really good. After dinner we attempted to act out the nativity, the twins are still a little young so it didnt go very well but it was nice reading the story and talking about it with the kids maybe next year we will be able to do better acting it out.
After that Hailey knew there was a present under the tree from my Mom that she could open tonight so I told her to get it ant that they could all help open it. Well Katie saw her getting a present so she went and got one of hers, I tried to tell her she had to wait but but her crying won over and I let her open it well of course Nicole wanted to open one to, well she went and got one but it was that she really needed to wait until Christmas to open because it went with one of her presents from Santa, after much screaming and crying she finally settled on opening another one. And by the way Rachel, Mom and Dad we love the book the kids had fun looking at all the pictures and tring to guess wich one was grandma and Grandpa, and I have enjoyed reading it.

Haircuts
I have been wanting to cut katie and Nicoles hair for awhile now but they kept telling me no because they wanted to be pretty princesses aparently you cant be a pretty princess with shorter hair. Last night Kyle was getting his hair cut so they decided they could try getting theirs cut to. It looks really cute, somehow Nicoles ended up quite a bit shorter, Marc said that is good because now he can tell them apart.

Santa
Last night Kyle had a party at his school. The kids got to make gingerbread houses, and Santa came they got to take pictures with them, and the kids performed some of their Christmas songs for us. It was fun. Kyle took charge of the gingerbread house and wouldnt let his sisters help so they weren't very happy. Nicole refused to be in the picture with Santa but Katie was all excited. The songs were very cute but Kyle was in the far top corner and we really couldnt see him. And I made the mistake of letting Kyle hold the gingerbread house on his lap on the way home, needless to say it was pretty much gone by the time we got home.

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth
Kyle has been wondering why all of his friends have been losing their teeth and he hasnt lost any. A couple of weeks ago I looked in his mouth and his adult teeth on the bottom were allready through the skin they were just coming in the wrong spot so he wasnt losing his baby teeth. Marc talked to a dentist that he knows yesterday and she said that he needed to have his baby teeth pulled right away so that is beg teeth would have a chance to grow into the right spot. So today he got his two front teeth pulled. He did great they have a TV on the ceiling so he jast layed there and watched Cars through the whole thing, when he was done he said he felt great so he went back to school.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Marc was lucky this year and had Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday off of work so we were able to spend Thanksgiving with my parents at their house. We had a great time here are some of the highlights: We took the scenic route to get there it is a little bit longer but very worth it. We saw a whole heard of big horn sheep, and had an amazing view of Mt raineer.

We had a fun Halloween. Kyle didnt have school on Halloween, so we spent the day cleaning their bedrooms playing outside and coloring Halloween pictures. Then when Marc got home we got pizza we had it delivered the kids have never had pizza delivered before they thought it was great. Then because it was to early to go trick or treating we started watching a movie. At about 6:30 we got ready and went trick or treating, we have a great neighborhood for it.
