I only do birthday parties for the kids on certain birthdays, and this year was not a party year for Kyle or Hailey, but they both really wanted to do something fun with friends. So I decided to let them each invite some of their friends over for a party, but not really a birthday party. We didn't do cake and candles or presents, they just got to play with their friends. Hailey ended up having 5 friends come and Kyle had 7 friends. They got here at about 6:30
This is how we discovered Lydia right before everyone arrived. It got a little crazy while everyone was getting here, but once everyone was here it settled down. The girls started off playing on the Trampoline while the boys got started playing flag football.
Rachel got the girls showing off some of their talents, while I got Lydia to bed. This is Hailey with her best friend Brooke, Brooke is showing off her tongue talents.
after awhile the girls came in and worked on making some bead necklaces, and the boys had a turn on the trampoline.
Next we did ice cream sundaes. I think they were a hit, especially since they got to put as much topping on their ice cream as they wanted.
Things got a little crazy again after the ice cream because all the kids ended up on the trampoline and that was to many, so we brought the girls in and they painted each others nails.
By then they party was about over, the girls ended the night with a game of Princess charades and the boys finished the night in Kyles room building with Legos. The parents picked everyone up at 8:30 and all of the kids seemed like they had a great time. Marc is allready planning the next one.
We had all the kids sign these giant cards for Kyle and Hailey, they turned out cute.
