Memorial Day weekend
Daniel, Heather and Ridge ended up being in town this weekend, so we got to spend some time with them. Saturday we went with them and Rachels family to this pond that they stock with fish and kids can fish for free. It was fun, unfortunately none of us caught anything.
Lydia loved the slide.
That night we had a barbecue, the food was great. After dinner we had ice cream cones, Lydia loved it.
Sunday evening we played games and had dessert with everyone again. It was fun to see Daniels family, they are lots of fun. The rest of the weekend was nice. It was nice to just take a break from the busyness.

family update
I haven't written anything on here for awhile, life has been very busy. I am learning that I love the nights when we are all home together and no one has to go anywhere, unfortunately those are few and far between these days. Here is a little bit about what we have been doing. Kyle is busy with school, he had his state testing this last week. He also was asked to sing in the Stake children's choir that performed today at stake conference. He did a wonderful job. When he is not at school or busy he just wants to play basketball. Hailey is just about done with baseball this is her last week. She has had so much fun, and we have all loved watching her play. Katie and Nicole are my helpers at home, they have been loving the nice weather, they spend as much time as possible outside, they have been very patient with all the running around we have to do. Lydia is almost 13 months. She finally has tooth #5, she still hasn't said a word, but she understands most of what we tell her do. She dances and tries to sing. She is lots of fun. I have been busy getting everyone where they need to go, helping out in Kyles class, and doing my new calling(cub scouts den leader). Marc is of course busy with work and his church calling. In his spare time he built this entertainment center for us, and he is working on the bathroom downstairs (pictures to come when it is done). Life is full and busy right now and we are loving it.
