Soccer picture

The twins finished up soccer last week.  They loved playing on the soccer team, and they both played so well.  They are already talking about playing next year.

We are having some really hot weather so I set the pool up for Katie and Nicole and Lydia this afternoon.  They were so excited.  They had a great time.  Last year Lydia was a little hesitant around water, but not this time, she loved it.

Haileys Softball Team

This is Haileys Softball team, they are a group of really nice girls, she has so much fun playing with them.  We are having fun watching her, she is doing really well, she is a pretty consistent hitter and is getting so much better at catching.  We are about half way done with her season, it is lots of fun. 

Mothers Day

We started off the day with Marc making waffles for breakfast, they were very yummy.  Then the kids gave me all kinds of cute gifts.  They all made things at school, cute cards and notes and pictures.  Marc gave me a cute card, and flowers and a couple of things for my kitchen that I have been wanting.  I have to say that my kids for some reason have been quite difficult all weekend, and today was no different, so our morning before church was not the most relaxing.  Church was nice, we were in Selah last week for church so my kids didn't know the song that the kids were singing so that was kind of funny.  After church Marc helped me make a yummy dinner and he made dessert, so that was really nice.  The kids were still going at it all afternoon.  It was kind of a long day, the kind where you are counting down the minutes until bedtime.  When I tucked the kids in though Katie and Nicole both said that they wished it could be Mothers Day everyday, or at least once a month. I  love being a Mom, it is definitely not always easy or fun but I wouldn't trade it for anything.  I love my kids even when they are having one of those days, I think that they are pretty amazing kids and I am so thankful that I am their Mom.

Mileage club and caterpillars

Hailey made it to 50 miles this last week in mileage club.  It was fun because she made it on the day that Marc and I went and helped out, so we saw her and her friend get their shirts, they were so excited.

The twins are learning about caterpillars and how they turn into butterflies in their class, they each have their own caterpillars and they feed them and watch them each day, so when I pick them up I get an update on what they are doing, it is lots of fun.  They brought home these marshmallow caterpillars that they made the other day, they were cute so we took a picture.
