Haileys art class

Hailey just finished a 6 week art class at her school.  She wasnt very excited about the art class, but I think she enjoyed it more than she thought she would.  Here are a couple of the things she brought home.  The leaf is a watercolor and then her self portrait.

Lydia is 6

Lydia turned 6 on Friday, it is hard to believe she is that old.  She opened her presents at breakfast, the kids made cute cards and little gifts and she got a scooter.  We had yummy french toast for breakfast.  Her birthday is also on earth day and they had some fun activities for the Kindergartners so I got to help with that and spend the morning with her, it was lots of fun.  We had taquitos for dinner and ate lots of cake and ice cream.  Then we had a movie night with her new movie "Hotel Transylvania 2."  We love our Lydia and hope that she had a fun day.

Spring Break

This past week was Spring Break.  The kids played around the house Monday and Tuesday, they spent lots of time on the trampoline and playing monopoly.  Wednesday Marc took the day off so we went to the tricities and went to the temple and then tried a new park.  We went to the Sacajawea State park, we had a picnic lunch and then walked around the park and the museum.  We learned lots of interesting things about Sacajawea and Lewis and Clark. 

Thursday and Friday the weather was very hot so we played outside a lot.  We played with water balloons and the sprinkler and put water under the trampoline.  We also went for a little hike through Cowiche canyon one evening.  It was a really nice Spring break.

Soccer

Lydia is playing soccer this year. Marc decided it would be fun to be a coach so he is her coach.  He is enjoying coaching and Lydia loves playing.  She has had two games so far and has done awesome, she is very fun to watch.  Kyle is Marcs assistant and helps out at practices and helps keep track of who to put in the games.
