 Kyle turned 22 today. We had fun talking to him, but wished we could have been with him to celebrate. He met a friend in idaho for the weekend where they fished and camped, and got Kyle’s truck stuck. 

They ran into the missionary’s when they were getting gas, one of them was one of the elders that Kyle trained.

Kyle is doing well, still living in Logan and working as a plumber. He went to Canada a couple of weeks ago to fish with my dad and a group of guys, he stopped by here on his way home, it was fun to see him.

Tillamook

 The twins had a race in tillamook on Saturday. Marc, Lydia, and I stayed Friday night in Vancouver, we stopped and saw Leah and her family, we wished Anthony a happy birthday. The hotel was fun, Lydia thought it was pretty great having a big bed to herself and she had fun swimming. 

The race went really well for Katie and Nicole, they both got some of their best times. Their team got third place, it was a lot of fun to watch.

It was a long drive home, but it was a fun weekend.

 Nicole was nominated and chosen as a WIAA athlete of the week last week. 

Weekend

 We had a busy fun weekend. The twins had a race in steilicom, over in western Washington, so Saturday we drove over there and spent the afternoon watching them , my dad was able to come so we had fun visiting with him, we went and had pizza afterwards with him. The twins had a good race, their team got 4th place. 

Sunday was fun, Scott and Shelby our neighbors from our old house who now live in Arizona were in town and came for a visit. They are doing great, their kids are all grown up, it was lots of fun catching up with them.

First cross country race

 The twins had their first race of the season yesterday, it was in Hermiston.  They both did great and loved it. Nicole won the race and Katie got 6th place. Their team got first place, they loved running with their team. It was fun watching both of them.

Labor Day weekend

 On Friday everyone wrote down a couple of things that they wanted to do over the weekend and we tried to fit as much in as we could. Friday night after Marc and I went to dinner we all watched a movie together, we dont do this very often anymore, so it was fun. Saturday morning we got up early and hiked one of our favorite hikes, and then went swimming at bumping lake, there wasn’t much water, but everyone had fun cooling off in it

We cooked hamburgers for dinner and then once it got dark we sat around the fire and made s’mores.

Sunday, church was good, but when we came out to drive home the car wouldn’t start, so unfortunately that took up some of our weekend. Monday we had to get the car towed and then spent the day doing a little shopping, and playing outside, badminton, 4 square, and pickle ball, the girls also had practice, when we all got home we ended the night with homemade ice cream.

It was a nice weekend, except for the car situation, which still isn’t resolved. The weather has changed it feels like fall, summer is really over
