Fun Visitors

 We had some fun visitors this past weekend.  My parents drove over Thursday afternoon, the kids were pretty excited to get home from school and see them here.  Friday morning they left and visited some friends and then came back Friday afternoon and stayed until Saturday morning. It was a really fun visit, we got some pickle ball in, ate yummy food, Grandma got a weight lifting lesson from Hailey, Grandma also got here in time to help finish a puzzle, we played some fun games, watched a teenage movie, and had a good time visiting and catching up.

 The twins finished up their art class and brought home some of their projects, they worked really hard on them and did a really great job.

Lydias first temple trip

 We were able to go to the temple Saturday night and do baptisms, and we were all able to go in. It was so nice to all be in the temple together. Lydia was really excited to be there.  It was a fun night, we went out to dinner after at Costa Vida, which is one of our favorites.

Snow Days

 Monday morning we woke up to almost 10 inches of snow, the girls were pretty excited, they got to extend their Christmas vacation by another day.  Then on Thursday we woke to another 6 inches of snow, so another snow day.  Its made it hard to get back on our routine, but the snow has been fun.

New Years Eve

 We had our little family new years party and then the older 3 girls went to the church youth dance until midnight.  We decided to order food from red robin and do that for dinner, that was fun.  Then we had a pull-up contest, raced our hotwheel cars, played basketball and ring toss, and a couple of other games, and of course had our cake walk and dance party.  Then Lydia, Marc and I watched a couple of movies while the girls were getting ready and at the dance.  It was a fun night.  2021 was a good year for us-everyone worked hard and learned and grew in all kind of ways.  We are excited to see what next year brings.

After Christmas

 Marc did go and get tested for covid the monday after Christmas, and he did test positive.  So we spent the whole week at home.  He was sick most of the week, Lydia started to get sick the middle of the week.  Im sure she had covid, the rest of us did not get sick.  It was kind of a boring week, it was super cold outside-so we were stuck inside the whole time.  We stayed busy reading, playing games, exercising, racing remote control cars, watching movies, and laughing at old family videos.
