This past week

This past week has been full of fun.  The kids had half days, I loved having them home for lunch and the weather was beautiful so we went for walks and played outside a lot. I had parent teacher conferences for the girls on Thursday.  Haileys teacher says she is every teachers dream, of course Hailey is doing great.  The twins are doing great also, their teacher just loves them.  She says they always seem to be one step ahead of everyone.  I am so thankful that my kids have such great teachers and that they love learning and doing well in school.

 Kyle had a 5 mile hike Wednesday afternoon with his scout group, he had a great time, he came home with all kinds of fun stories about their adventures.

  Katie, Nicole and Hailey had friends over on Thursday after school, there is another set of twins in Katie and Nicoles class and they have an older sister that is good friends with Hailey, they are all really nice girls, and it works out perfect to have them all over at the same time.

  Hailey entered a drawing in the art show at her school, so Thursday night her and I went and walked through their art gallery and enjoyed everyones artwork, since I only had one kid with me,  her and I treated ourselves to ice cream afterwards.

 We painted our dinning room a couple of weeks ago, and have been waiting for the blinds that we ordered to come so we could finish it.  They came yesterday and Marc got them all put up.  We painted the room yellow, we aren't sure how much we like it, we will probably repaint it, but it might be awhile.

 Thursday night someone egged our house, they left a cute little sign that said you have been egged, and that there were 12 eggs hidden in the yard, but to not be discouraged when one of them was empty, the empty one represented Jesus' empty tomb because he is risen.  The girls found it before school and thought it was the best thing ever. 

Broadway Beat

Hailey had a music program tonight, it was called Broadway Beat, it was really good.  They sang a bunch of songs from Broadway musicals.  Hailey has been practicing for the last couple of months, it has been fun hearing her learn and sing all those fun songs.  Some of the musicals that they sang songs from were, The Music Man, The Sound of Music, The wizard of Oz, Peter Pan, Wicked, Rent, and Grease,

Cinderella

 

Last night we went to the play Cinderella, that the School District put on.  It was really fun, we all really enjoyed it.  I was a little worried when I heard that it was 2 hours, I thought Lydia might have a hard time, but she did great.  Kyle wasn't very excited about going, but even he enjoyed it, i looked over at him several times and saw him laughing.  They did a great job with it, we are so glad that we went.

temple trip

We went to the temple on Saturday.  Marc went in and I stayed out with the kids, we had a really good time.  We played games, and read stories and talked.  When Marc came out we went to the park that the kids love and we played for awhile, then made our monthly visit to Winco.  Here are some pictures from the park.

We went walking along the river before we left and found this goose, the kids just thought he was so great, we wished we had some bread to feed him, we could tell he was hoping we would.

 

 

Saturday night after baths, Nicole decided to put all the hair clips and things in her hair. She looked pretty cute
