Beautiful dresses

We went to Costco tonight and they had Easter dresses, we had to get them. I let Hailey try hers on and the twins were in the bath she went to show them and they were immediately ready to get out of the bath and try theirs on. So we let them all put them on and they danced around for awhile and just kept saying beautiful dresses. The hard part was convincing them to take them off, and now I have to keep them hidden until Easter.

night time adventures

We have been having some interesting nights at our house. For the last two nights Kyle has gotten out of bed a little bit after 10:00 and walks up the stairs, we try to talk to him but he is out of it, nothing he says makes sense so we just put him back in bed and he goes back to sleep, its a little weird. He doesn't remember it in the morning. On Friday night the girls refused to put diapers on at bedtime so I let them wear underwear and I found some of those hospital plastic absorbent pad things and put them under their sheets, until I get mattress covers. In the middle of the night Katie woke up screaming so I went in to check on her she was standing up against the wall crying and screaming I asked her what was wrong she said there were bees in her bed. I realized that the plastic made a crinkling sound when she moved and I guess it sounded like bees. She did finally lay back down and go back to sleep and she stayed dry all night :)

Potty Trained

I have been waiting until after Christmas to potty train the twins. For Christmas they both got new pretty pink Minnie Mouse underwear so I figured we better start. So four days ago we went for it. The first day Nicole had an accident but since then they have done great, they go on their own I only remind them when we are going somewhere. I cant believe how easy it was, they are doing great. So my babies are no longer babies they are growing up so fast. I have mixed feelings about that, the diapers I wont miss so much but some of the other things that come with having babies in the house I know we will all miss. But we are enjoying watching them all grow up it is definitely a lot of fun.

Happy New year

We decided to stay home New Years Eve, so the kids and I spent the day getting the house ready and making all kinds of yummy snacks for our party. We spent the evening playing games, eating lots of snacks and we even did a little dancing. Then we watched the movie Space Chimps I think all the kids enjoyed it. We had a great party and the kids were in bed by about 8:30. I think Marc and I only made it until about 10:30, which is actually quite late for us. The next morning we woke up to about 4 new inches of snow so we loaded the kids up and went over to the park with the good sledding hill and did a little sledding it was lots of fun. Kyle even tried going down the hill without a sled he said it was pretty fun but it hurt his ribs a little.
Marc had the whole day off so we spent the day playing games and watching football, then we took the kids over to the church gym and played. Marc and I tried the new Pickle Ball set it seems to work well. It was a nice day. We are excited for the new year we cant wait to see what new adventures it brings.
