Lydias Dr. appointment
Lydia had her 12 month doctor appointment this morning. Usually we end up waiting for quite awhile, but today was great we didn't wait at all. She is very healthy. She is in the 90th percentile for height, 75th for weight and 90th for head size. She had to get 5 shots, which she wasn't very happy about, but she quit crying by the time we made it out to the car.
Easter
Our Easter celebration was really nice this year. Saturday morning at breakfast we talked about Easter and why we celebrate it. It was a really nice discussion. Saturday afternoon the kids made and decorated their Easter baskets, so of course the Easter bunny had to leave them something fun in their basket Sunday morning. He also hid a few eggs for the kids to find, he always hides them in the funniest places like in their church tights and shoes. It was lots of fun. The kids sang "I know that my Redeemer lives" in Sacrament meeting, they did a really nice job. After church we had dinner with Rachel and Tylers family, we had lots of very yummy food. After dinner we had a little Easter egg hunt, the kids were really cute. They all found a lot of eggs and should have plenty of candy to last awhile. Lydia found one egg with a chocolate egg inside she carried that egg around the whole time, never ate it just played with it. It was a very nice day.
We also colored eggs after church.

More baseball
We spent Saturday afternoon at another baseball game. The weather was beautiful and we had a great time. Hailey hit really well and also got a couple of people out.
Happy Birthday Lydia
My baby turned one on Friday, it is hard to believe that a whole year has gone by since she was born. We have all been excited for her big day. She got this new swing from her Grandma and Grandpa Beck, it was a beautiful day, so she got to enjoy it all day. I know that it will come in very handy this summer. We played outside all afternoon and then had pizza and cake and ice cream with Rachel and Tylers family. Unfortunately she fell and hurt her head right before her cake so she wasn't very excited at first but then she got into it and ended up eating most of the cake and getting quite silly at the end. We all enjoyed watching her.
We love our Lydia. She is very fun. She is a very quiet, easy going little girl. She puts up with her brother and sisters carrying her all around. She loves to eat, when she gets in her high chair she is very loud until she gets her food. She loves to be outside, She loves to pretend to talk on the phone she carries it around with her all the time, she is just a lot of fun, she brings a lot of joy into our family.

Hailey the baseball player
Hailey had a group of friends that were playing baseball this year and she was invited to play on their team, so she decided to do it. Their team is called the Diamondbacks. Last night was their first game, it was lots of fun to watch. Hailey sure looked cute out there.

Saturday Night
Saturday was a very busy day. We got up early and went to the Temple. We got home and ate a quick lunch and then did yard work for awhile and then came in and got the house all clean. The kids were really good helpers and were really well behaved at the temple so I thought it would be fun to have a special treat. So after dinner we made mud pies, chocolate pudding topped with crumbled up oreos, it was a big hit, everyone had fun pouring the dirt on top of their mud. Lydia even got in on the action, and we sure had fun watching her.

Hailey: 32, then I could have kids
Katie: 8, then I could do big kid stuff
Nicole: 7, because Hailey is 7
