Halloween was fun this year. Last night the youth at church put on an activity for everyone. The girls had fun putting on some carnival type games for the little kids, and then there was a trunk or treat. We have also enjoyed watching Halloween movies, listening to Halloween music, carving pumpkins, decorating pumpkin shaped sugar cookies, and doing Halloween puzzles.
We are almost to the end of the sports season, it has been busy but good. Hailey will have her volleyball district games this week and weekend. If they are one of the top two teams in the district then they will go to state, they will have some tough games. A couple of weeks ago Hailey was hit in the face by a hard hit ball and she got a concussion. She didnt feel very well for a few days, but was finally feeling good and able to pass the concussion test, she was finally able to play again this past Thursday.
Katie and Nicole had their district race this past week, they did very well. Nicole got 4th place and Katie was 1 second behind her in 5th place. Their whole team god 2nd place so they get to run in the state race this coming weekend. They are pretty excited about that.
Lydias soccer season is about over, they have one more game, playing for 3rd place in the tournament. She has really enjoyed it, and has learned a lot.
We had a quick visit from Tyler and Rachels family Thursday night, they were on their way to Idaho. The kids had a quick nerf gun war and then we ate some cookies and took a picture and then they were on their way to finish their drive. It was fun to see them even if it was just for a few minutes.
Hailey, Katie,and Nicole are all in art classes at the high school. Hailey is in a clay class. They had to make monsters.
Katie and Nicole are both in Art 101. They have been doing some drawing. Their first assignment was blind drawing, it was challenging but their pictures turned out kind of cool.
They all enjoy art, and are really enjoying their classes.
It was weird getting family pictures without Kyle, but we still wanted pictures of the girls and pictures documenting what our life looks like right now. They turned out really nice, and she took a lot, here are some or our favorites.
