Christmas

 Christmas was a really nice day. We got up at 6:00. We always start by seeing what Santa left in everyone’s stockings and then we do the sibling gift exchange, everyone always gives such nice thoughtful gifts. We opened everything slowly, and stopped and tried things on, and just had a nice slow peaceful morning. We stopped for awhile and ate breakfast. Later we went over to the other tree and Santa had left some other gifts. We sat around all morning opening and checking everything out. It was a lot of fun. The rest of the day was spent napping, playing games, eating, putting together legos, playing with toys. 

Christmas Eve

 Marc worked this morning. Hailey drove Carl to the airport. So our morning was spent prepping food and getting ready. When everyone got home we ate yummy snacks and hung out until dinner. Dinner was great, the food was good and it was great to have everyone around the table. 

After dinner we cleaned up and went for a walk. Then we decorated sugar cookies. 

We decided to open a fun family gift. It was nerf type guns and targets, we had a lot of fun playing with it and competing to see who was the best shot. The losers got shot at.

We watched some Christmas videos and Marc shared a little message. We changed into our matching pjs, and read some of our favorite Christmas stories. Then kids started going to bed and Santa cleaned up and put out stockings and presents.

 Tonight we made our gingerbread creations, they turned out great, everyone was very creative.
