 -Lydia worked a lot

October 19

- My parents  came to our house after their weekend in Utah, they got here Monday night and stayed until Thursday morning. We had a very nice visit, we talked and went for walks, went to Lydia’s pumpkin patch, enjoyed all the fall/halloween decorations, did puzzles, played pickle ball in the wind. It was fun to have them here and show them our new home and city.

- Lydia worked a lot this week, my cousin and her family  visited Lydia at her work Friday night

- more hunting for Hailey and Carl

- everyone enjoyed watching the BYU football game this week

October 12

 - October 7th Hailey celebrated her 23rd birthday, carl took her out to dinner, that evening she had people over for brownies and ice cream, it sounds like it was a good birthday 

- Lydia didn’t have school on Friday, so Thursday night we left for Utah. We got there around 9:30 and checked into our rental house. Friday morning we drove the alpine loop over to Provo, the drive was so pretty, we stopped several times to take pictures. 

Nicole didn’t have school, so we took her to Costco, and stocked her kitchen.

Kyle had a long break at work, so we met up with him and my parents for lunch. It was a lot of fun eating and visiting.

We went back to our house and waited for everyone to finish school and work and join us. Marc picked up food and we ate and watched the byu football game. My parents were in Utah for the weekend so they stayed with us, it was fun all being together.

We started Saturday with some pickleball, it was fun until the thunder and lightning and rain started.

The girls really wanted to do a photo shoot, so everyone changed and by the time we got up in the canyon the rain had mostly stopped, it was  beautiful, we had fun taking pictures, we even convinced Kyle to come. Unfortunately Carl had to work for awhile, we missed him.

We met up with my parents again for lunch. Then they went back to the house to get ready for their wedding reception. The rest of us went to the park and played soccer until the rain got too bad, and then we went back to the house. We didn’t really have plans for the evening, we ended up finding a free pumpkin patch and going there, we had a good time, Kyle really got into playing tetherball, and basketball. We found some good pumpkins, for the girls to carve for Halloween.

We had to say goodbye to everyone Sunday morning, it was a fun weekend, we loved seeing everyone. 

- we went to church with my cousin, her son was giving his mission homecoming talk, it was fun to see so much extended family.

- the drive home was very rainy, the roads were not great but we made it home, and can’t wait until the next time we get to see everyone
