Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Marc was lucky this year and had Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday off of work so we were able to spend Thanksgiving with my parents at their house. We had a great time here are some of the highlights: We took the scenic route to get there it is a little bit longer but very worth it. We saw a whole heard of big horn sheep, and had an amazing view of Mt raineer.
Also on our drive we got to use our window wipers My kids got so excited they just kept laughing and said Mom why are the window wipers moving so fast. You can tell we are from eastern Washington. After about three hours into the drive Nicole just kept saying "Me go home, me no like Gammas house" once we got their she seemed to like it just fine. Of course the food was great, it always nice to enjoy thanksgiving dinner with family. As we were sitting around visiting after dinner Grandpa asked Katie if she was Katie(its still a little hard to tell them apart especially when I am mean and dress them the same even the same color of elastics in their hair) and she pointed to Nicole and said "No shes Katie Me Cole" And then of course gave grandpa a big smile. I was hoping they would be a little older before they figured out that they could do that. Thanksgiving night the kids convinced Grandpa and Marc to sleep in the cabin with them. From what I heard they had a great time telling all kinds of wild stories. It would have been great except for Marc had to get up at 3:00 and go to the bathroom, and they never got back to sleep after that. The next day when they were cleaning up the cabin the kids both climbed into the hammocks and fell asleep almost instantly. Also while we were there Marc and Grandpa made a bench for our house it turned out really nice, Kyle and Hailey also made a bench they were very proud of how it turned out. marc and I were also able to get a lot of Christmas shopping done without any kids, which makes it much easier. Grandma let the kids help here set up her Christmas villages Saturday night they loved doing that. We had a great Thanksgiving Vacation.

Halloween

We had a fun Halloween. Kyle didnt have school on Halloween, so we spent the day cleaning their bedrooms playing outside and coloring Halloween pictures. Then when Marc got home we got pizza we had it delivered the kids have never had pizza delivered before they thought it was great. Then because it was to early to go trick or treating we started watching a movie. At about 6:30 we got ready and went trick or treating, we have a great neighborhood for it.
We were just going to go the homes where we knew people well, but we decided to go to all the houses on the street and it turned out to be a good way to get to know our neighbors. They all recognized us and complemented us on our new house color. I didnt know how the twins would do but they really got in to it, they said tick or treat and thank you at every house, and at the houses where they let you pick your own candy out they just kept taking more and more until they finally moved the bowl. We now have tons of candy at our house. When we got back Kyle and Hailey sat outside and passed out the candy to the kids he even made a sign that said ,open ,so everyone would know to come to our house.
