Father Daughter Ball

Last night was the Father Daughter Ball. It is such a fun event, the girls had fun getting ready.  They looked beautiful.  It sounds like they had a great time.  They entered a dance contest, they didn't win, but I am sure they had some great dance moves. They ate ice cream and played games, and did lots of dancing.

Hailey started basketball to a couple of weeks ago.  She had her first game on Saturday.  We had a great time watching her, she played really well.  She made her free throw, the referee said she could move up a little bit if she wanted to, she said she would be fine and she made it.  It is going to fun watching her for the next few weeks.

 

 

Kyle is playing basketball for young mens, on Saturday mornings, he is enjoying it.  I haven't been able to watch him yet, but he sure loves playing.

Primary and a couple of other things

Lydia started primary today. She has been so excited all week.  She loved it, and is already talking about how she gets to go again next week.

 

 

 

I also took a picture of Hailey before church in one of her new skirts with her hair all curled with her new curling iron.

 

The other kids all came home excited about their new teachers and classes, it sounds like they will have a great year at church.

 

School starts back up tomarrow, it has been fun having the kids home.  But I am ready to get back to my routine, and I think they are too.

 

 

New Years Eve

We spent Tuesday morning at the temple, which was really nice.  we went to Target afterwards and let the kids use their gift cards that they got for Christmas.  The girls got stuff to go with their dolls, so they played so nice together all afternoon.  Then we had our little New Years Eve party.  We started with food.  Lots of fun snack foods, and of course, everyone got their own root beer.

 

Then we did some Karaoke, it was a big hit this year.

This year we added darts to our party, it was lots of fun.

That was it.  2013 was a great year.  And now we are ready to start a new year, I am sure there are all kinds of fun and new exciting things awaiting us in 2014.
