This weekend my parents came to visit. They got here Friday night, we visited with them for awhile and then went to bed. We were awakened by very excited kids the next morning, I had told them that Grandma and Grandpa would get here Saturday so they were excited to see them when they got up. The weather was beautiful so we spent most of the day outside. The boys played some football, my Mom and I played some Bocce ball with the kids, and Mom showed off some of her jump roping and hula hoop skills. It was a fun day, they stayed the night and then went home early Sunday morning.

Our Cherry tree died this last summer so we are going to cut it down and plant a new one, Marc got the branches all cut off and the kids have decided that it makes a pretty good climbing tree.
Last night Kyle got to pull out his first tooth. He lost two teeth last year but the dentist had to pull them out so this was his first time doing it on his own. Marc was trying to help him but he said he wanted to do it himself so he went downstairs and worked on it and finally got it out. He didn't want to put it under his pillow for the tooth fairy yet he says he wants to keep it for awhile.

At the school the kids go to they do something called mileage club. On Wednesdays during their long recess they run and keep track of how far they go. Kyle made it to the 50 mile club this past week, so he earned his T-shirt. He was very proud of himself he was the first second grader to make it that far.
