Basketball

Katie and Nicole just finished their basketball season, they both played on the 8th grade team.  They both really enjoyed it, and we had fun watching them.  They both played really well and learned a lot.  Katie was voted mvp at the end of the season.

Valentines Day

We had a fun Valentines day.  The kids were excited to find out what we were having for dinner.  This year we did an Italian theme.  We had Italian sodas, salad, fettucine alfredo, and bread sticks, and for dessert we had geltto.  The food was all really good, it was a very nice dinner.  After dinner Marc gave me a gift, I opened it. it was a new fitbit, Marc told me to open the box so I did and inside were dairy queen spoons.  There is a comercial on TV that we think is funny where the guy gives the girl a present with a dairy queen spoon, she cries and makes a big deal about it, we all think it is pretty funny.  Marc thought he was pretty funny to put the spoons in the box.  After dinner we went and picked up flowers and took them to some friends that could use some valentines cheer.  It was a fun day.

Father Daughter Dance

Saturday night was the Father Daughter dance, It was just Lydia and Marc again this year.  they had a great time.  They did a lot of dancing, they played games and ate ice cream.  It sounds like it was a very fun night.

I turned 42 last week.  It was a nice birthday, Marc surprised me took the day off, he left for work like usual and then about an hour after everyone left I heard the front door open and he walked in.  We spent the day together, running errands and we went out to lunch. When everyone got home we had dinner and opened all the fun gifts, katie and Nicole embroidered me some kitchen towels, they turned out really cute, Lydia made a cute card and note.  We ended the night with yummy cherry pie and ice cream.
